Almond Hazelnut Praline, containing 24% almonds and 24% hazelnuts. Comes in 5kg buckets. Fine texture, intense roasted taste and pronounced caramel flavours. Callebaut selects premium grades of hazelnuts and almonds of Turkish and Californian origin. They are roasted, ground and caramelised into the fine, homogeneous nut pastes and pralines with the authentic taste Callebaut is renowned for. Nut pastes and pralines are great taste makers. A slight addition will already give crèmes, bavarois, glazings and confectionery fillings an intense hazelnut taste. Furthermore, these nut products are perfectly compatible with chocolate and guarantee perfect end results. Callebaut’s praline range is the result of a long tradition. All pralines are based on high roasts of premium grade hazelnuts and almonds. The high roast deepens the colour of the praline and creates a pronounced, roasted taste. Furthermore the caramelisation process guarantees a more exciting sweetness with more depth. Its main applications are for flavouring pastry crèmes, bavarois or cremeaux and ice cream preparations. The high roasts add a balance of sweetness and roasted nut flavours to less sweet pastry components. They give it a sweetness that has more depth and contrast.
