SILKY CAKE - Preparation for soft cakes. Description: SILKY CAKE is a revolutionary mix to make cakes, muffins and many other specialties. Our Research and Development lab has studied and developed recipes which will allow the final user to make delicious cakes with an extraordinary softness and a very delicate lemon flavour and aroma. A further distingushing feature is their ability to maintain these aspects for several days with no alteration. SILKY CAKE is fast and easy to use, only eggs, water and oil need to be added.
BASIC RECIPE:
SILKY CAKE kg 1
Seed oil or butter g 300
Water g 225-250
Eggs g 350
Mix all ingredients in a planetary mixer equipped with a paddle or a heavy wire whisk for 5 minutes at medium speed. Place the dough in the moulds, filling them by half and bake at 180-200°C.
Baking times depend on the size of the cakes. Disclaimers: Warning: in order to produce fruit cakes, it is advisable to add to the a.m. recipe 50 g of wheat flour so that the fruit will remain on the surface of the cake during baking.
